Trailer of one of the best tennis simulators of the last few years.
It could be said that video game popularity started with
Pong, a game in which two bars hit a ball (pixel) back and forth across a screen, more or less like in a tennis match. Many years have gone by since Pong was launched, and video games have evolved considerably. This evolution can be observed in
Virtua Tennis, a game by
Sega that has many followers.
Not only is it played in
game arcades, but also on video game consoles and computers, this brilliant game has managed to hook all kinds of players. It totally
arcade playability (this means that it doesn't try to simulate the skill required to play tennis properly) and its advanced graphics have made
Virtua Tennis (known as
Power Smash in Japan) one of the best tennis games of all times.
In this video of
Virtua Tennis 3 we will be able to see some of the players that we will be able to control (
Andy Murry,
Rafa Nadal and
Roger Federer, among others), the
courts and the great graphic improvement, as well as the
new and polished animations of the tennis players.
This video was the one that was shown at the
Tokio Game Show in 2006, one of the most important video game fairs in the world, and with it they boosted the sale on all the platforms.
